COMBINATION CRANE PROGRAM

If you are in the WorkSafe BC  Vocational rehabilitation process, this program is designed for you from senior members of the crane industry to provide you with the hands on training and certifications employers are looking for. 

The Crane industry can be extremely accommodating to physical limitations as most tasks are not strenuous with a 30-50 Lb limit, previous students have had Back, Knee, Neck, Hand and feet issues on all levels of limitations. 

During the program our training center is designed for rehabilitation with comfort additions. 

  • Program Length:  4 weeks, 20 days (10 day duration's) 2 days off in between.

 Folding Boom 22 Ton      (Level A certification)

 Folding Boom Unlimited (Level A certification)

 Stiff Boom 20 Ton            (Level A certification)

 Stiff Boom 40 Ton            (Level A certification)

 Mobile Hydraulic 20 Ton (Level A certification)

 Mobile Hydraulic 80 Ton (Level B preparation)

 Level 1 Fundamentals of Rigging certification.

 

  •  Cost: $ 37,000.00 includes Level A assessment & Certification fees 

  • Class Size: 4 students for maximum amount of seat time. 

  • You will be mentored by one of our Red Seal Journeyman Crane Operators with many years of experience in operation, supervision and management from some of the largest Crane Rental providers and projects across Canada.

  • Course includes 70% practical crane time and 30% theory classroom time every day to offer you the best opportunity to be a safe competent operator with the maximum amount of seat time hours during the course to start your career and gain job training knowledge. 

  • The average wage:  $ 36.00- $ 55.00 per hr with a growing demand.

Certification:

  • This program will prepare students take the Fulford Level A BC CraneSafe Certification assessment. The assessment is conducted on the last day of program by a Fulford Certification Assessor, cost is included with the program.

  • Crane Operators are a regulated trade in British Columbia and operators must be certified by BC Crane Safety.   Fulford Level A BC CraneSafety Certification assessment is the one of the requirements for BC Crane Safety certification and is recognized by WorkSafeBC and Yukon’s Workers Compensation Health and Safety Board as proof of practical competence.

  • Class 1 or 3 drivers license is not required to complete your certification but it will be an asset for employment.
