Admission requirements 

Grade 10 or equal to level of education with Mathematics, Fluent English language Reading, Writing and speaking, 2020 

vision with or without prescription, (depth perception) adequate agility to climb on and off the equipment, bending, stooping and capable to lift 30 Lbs.

Benefits to being a Crane Operator

 

• The average wage in Western Canada for a Crane Operator is $42.04 per hour*. ($80,000 per year) - Statistics Canada

• Crane operators must be certified to run any crane in Canada above 5 Tons with no exceptions.

• Crane operators are required in every aspect of industry.  Railway, marine,  Pulp mill, Sawmill, Oil/Gas, Mining, City works, Hwy maintenance or general construction.​
